COMPANY PROFILE

         By firmly and constant support from Mexican federal and regional authorities, our company, Ciroomex S.A. de C.V. was officially established in May, 2003, and was registered at Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, and other relative authorities. Beside Philip Morris Cigatam and British American Mexico, Ciroomex is one of the three most important manufacturers of cigarettes in Mexico.

              Our company is integrated by both Mexican and foreign investments, represented by Mr. Antonio Parra, President of the Board of Directors, who is leading administration and domestic sales of this company; meanwhile, the foreign investment is in charge of factory production,  operation and maintenance training, as well as export to overseas markets. At the moment, the factory has approximately 120 workers, including some technicians who have 25 to 35 years of experience hired  from several most important tobacco and cigarette factories in the world.

Majority of especies of tobacco, raw materials, and other elements for our production are ISO 9001 and ISO 9002 qualified, high quality flavors and additives are elaborated from French technology.     

             At the moment, we have five registered trademarks, including Azabache, Picudos, Gold Maya, Feeling, and Samba. Beside full flavor cigarettes, we produce some flavored cigarettes such as Strawberry, Lemon, Apple Mint, Vanilla Cocoa, Capuccino, Almond, etc.  We can also manufacture some other different flavors as Menthol, Creamy Sweet, Mango, Tropical fruits Mix, etc. to meet orders or private labels program from overseas customers.

                         LOCATION

       Our factory is located in Chetumal City, Capital of Quintana Roo State of Mexico. Three and a half hours road distance from Cancun, the worldwide famous tourist City; and four hours distance far from Progreso, one of the most important Port of Gulf of Mexico.  Its location is 1.5 km. to reach Hondo River leads to Caribbean Sea, 10 minutes distance to the Belize border  and Belize Commercial Free Zone, 15 minutes to Chetumal downtown, and 5 minutes to the airport, is a logistic location for manufacturing, import materials, and export our products.    

                             TOBACCO PLANTATION

       By fully support of the State Government of Quintana Roo, our company has established five experimental farms in three nearby villages to grow different species of tobacco, including Virginia and Burley. The plantation of several species is grown by four different seasons and it results the harvest and leaf quality are much better than Nayarit, the most important tobacco plantation area in Mexico. Our future project is to cooperate with 875 farmers to grow 3,500 land acres, in order to produce 7,000 tons of tobacco each year, and to provide around 10,500 employment jobs annually.
